This is the continuation of a blog post titled ‘Book Series I plan to start thisyear | Part 1’.

In part 1, I told you about 3 epic series that I want to read. In today’s list, I will tell you about some other extremely popular book series that I can’t wait to get into. These books are buzzing all over the Internet and are recommended by millions. Without further delay, let’s see what those are ---

4. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

A retelling of old school popular fairy tales, The Lunar Chronicles is a series of four primary young adult fantasy novels. The world inside this series has humans, cyborgs and androids – all the stuff that can make anyone excited. The books retell the stories of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Snow White. I have to read this series soon. There aren’t many books that twist up fairy tales and create an adventure out of them. I am eyeing the books on Amazon and should get them as soon as my wallet fills up.

5. Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Mass

The Throne of Glass is a highly praised series. With four books already published, this series is taking over every buzz in the young adult fantasy scenario. This story about a teenage assassin girl has a huge online fan base and since I almost live on the internet, it has always popped up around me. I have already acquired the first two books and I think I am planning to read them this month itself.

6. The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan

The Kane Chronicles is the only series by the myth master Rick Riordan that I haven’t read. I have loved all of his other works and I know I will love this one too. The three books in this series are based on Egyptian Mythology but are set on modern day like all of his other books. There is no doubt that this series will be fantastico to read.

7. The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis

I have seen all the movies in the Chronicles of Narnia series and have loved the vastness that it holds. It is an epic series. The world is very large and complex. It shares the same feeling that I have for the A Song of Fire and Ice series. Both of these are high fantasy series and I have been waiting for an appropriate age to read them. I am going to start with the Chronicles of Narnia by the end of the year. I maybe not be able to read all the seven books of the series this year but I surely am reading the first three at least.
